I have a small painting & cleaning business, but work has really slowed down, and I'm not able to pay my rent for December, I don't want to get kicked out in the cold, like I did last year.

Can anyone help me and my kids, buy giving me some work,  or any finincial assistance?

I would try modestneeds.com and look for a roomate to help you out with cost till things $$$ improve.

there are a lot of online classifieds like craigslist.org and more in my blog. Advertise there  or at kijiji.com about your services. Hit the local neighbors and offices for cleaning work...

Call 211 for resources for your area and you might qualify for temporary cash assistance in your state , worth checking into. 

Ask them at 211 for shelters in your area better to be with a roof over your head..
